How do you import Nordnet transactions into HomeCFO?

Export your transaction history from Nordnet as a file, then upload it in HomeCFO. HomeCFO prepares an import preview from your exported file. Importing sends transaction data to HomeCFO and uploads the original file to its cloud archive in Google Firebase Cloud Storage; the file is not kept only on your device. The preview lets you choose the account, check the rows, and review likely duplicates before HomeCFO processes your trades, dividends, and fees.

A single Nordnet export can hold every transaction type at once: stock buys and sells, currency trades, dividends, withholding tax, interest, deposits, and withdrawals. The built-in parser sorts them out, so you do not map columns by hand.

Steps

  1. Export your history from Nordnet. In your Nordnet account, open the transaction history and export it to a file. HomeCFO has a built-in Nordnet parser, so you do not need to arrange the columns yourself.
  2. Start the import in HomeCFO. Open the account you want to import into and choose to import transactions. This pre-selects that account as the target for the file.
  3. Upload the file. HomeCFO prepares an import preview from your exported file. Importing sends transaction data to HomeCFO and uploads the original file to its cloud archive in Google Firebase Cloud Storage; the file is not kept only on your device.
  4. Review the preview. Check the parsed rows, confirm the account, and review anything flagged as a likely duplicate. Dividends and their withholding tax are paired for you by security and date.
  5. Confirm the import. Confirm the reviewed rows to import them into your ledger. The original-file archive is stored in HomeCFO’s Google Firebase Cloud Storage. HomeCFO processes your trades, currency movements, dividends, and fees into the ledger.

If you import the same file twice, HomeCFO recognises the rows it already holds and skips them, so a re-import will not double your history.
