What is HomeCFO

HomeCFO is a personal finance app for Finnish households. It keeps your bank accounts, investments, and loans in one ledger, so you can see what your family owns and owes without a spreadsheet.

The app reads the transactions you import from Finnish banks and brokers, tracks each holding, and works out capital gains the way Finnish tax rules expect, including FIFO cost basis and the deemed acquisition cost. You get a running net worth figure, a cash flow forecast, and a tax summary to check before you file.

Everything is built from your own data. You import statements, review the categories, and HomeCFO handles the arithmetic.
