How do you import OP bank statements into HomeCFO?

Export your transaction history from OP as a file, then upload it in HomeCFO. HomeCFO has a built-in OP parser, so it reads the statement in your browser, shows a preview where you pick the account and review the rows, and flags likely duplicates. You confirm, and HomeCFO archives the file and posts the transactions to your ledger.

The OP parser handles the statement format for you, including Finnish decimals and the counterparty and reference fields, so each row lands with the right date, amount, and description.

Steps

  1. Export your statement from OP. In OP’s online bank, open your account transaction history and export it to a file. HomeCFO’s built-in OP parser reads the format, so you do not map columns by hand.
  2. Start the import in HomeCFO. Open the account you want to import into and choose to import transactions. This pre-selects that account as the target for the file.
  3. Upload the file. Upload the exported statement. HomeCFO reads and parses it in your browser, so the raw file stays on your device while it is read.
  4. Review the preview. Check the parsed rows, confirm the account, and review any rows flagged as likely duplicates before you commit.
  5. Confirm the import. Confirm to commit the rows. HomeCFO archives the original file and posts the transactions into your ledger.

If you import the same statement again, HomeCFO recognises the rows it already holds and skips them, so overlapping date ranges will not create duplicates.
